TAP is a treatment model that incorporates assessment triage and essential components of trauma treatment into clinical pathways. TAP incorporates a multifaceted assessment process to enable clinicians to gain an in-depth understanding of the child, their developmental level, their traumatic experience, and the family, community and cultural system in which the child lives. It is a manualized treatment addressing all forms of childhood trauma.
