CRTES-R - Child's Reaction to Traumatic Events Scale-Revised [1]

A 23-item self-report measure designed to assess psychological responses to stressful life events. The measure is based on the Horowitz Impact of Events Scale and was initially modified to assess Intrusion and Avoidance symptoms based on DSM-III-R criteria.

CHS - Children's Hope Scale [2]

A 6-item self-report questionnaire assessing children’s dispositional hope. The measure is “based on the premise that children are goal directed and that their goal-related thoughts can be understood according to two components: agency and pathways” (Snyder et al., 1997, p. 400).

CPTSD-I - Children's PTSD Inventory [3]

The CPTSD-I is a structured clinician-administered interview for youths 6 to 18 years old that assesses PTSD symptoms and diagnoses, qualifying event, and current functioning.

CAPS-CA - Clinician Administered PTSD Scale for Children and Adolescents [4]

The CAPS-CA is based on the CAPS, which is considered a gold standard for assessing PTSD in individuals over age 15. It assesses the frequency and intensity of the 17 symptoms of PTSD, with items developed to be consistent with the DSM-IV.

CART - Communities Advancing Resilience Toolkit Assessment Survey [5]

This theory-based, field-tested survey instrument assesses a community's resilience across multiple domains, explores participants' personal relationship to their community, and queries standard demographics.

DSS-ROCF - Developmental Scoring System for the Rey-Osterrieth Complex [6]

The ROCF assesses perceptual organization and visual memory. The Developmental Scoring System "allows the examiner to objectively evaluate ROCF performance within a developmental context and to determine the age-appropriateness of the child's Copy and Recall productions.

DIPA - Diagnostic Infant and Preschool Assessment [7]

The DIPA is an interview of caregivers for children from nine months to six years old.

DICA-ASD - Diagnostic Interview for Children and Adolescents Acute Stress Disorder Module [8]

The DICA-ASD is a semi-structured clinical interview that provides a measure of self-reported Acute Stress Disorder symptomatology and diagnosis. It was adapted from the PTSD module of the DICA.

DERS - Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale [9]

The DERS is a brief, 36-item, self-report questionnaire designed to assess multiple aspects of emotion dysregulation. The measure yields a total score as well as scores on six scales derived through factor analysis.

Expectations Test [10]

The Expectations Test is a child self-report measure developed to measure expectations for emotions, experiences, and efficacy for social situations in general and especially when there is a concern about sexual or physical abuse.

ECBI - Eyberg Child Behavior Inventory [11]

This parent-rating scale is used to assess both the frequency of child disruptive behaviors and the extent to which the parent finds the child’s behavior troublesome. It has been widely used in treatment outcome studies for disruptive disorders.

FACES IV - Family Adaptability and Cohesion Scale [12]

Based on the Circumplex model. Revised version includes six subscales: two assess the mid-ranges of adaptability and cohesion, and four assess the extremes (rigid, chaotic, disengaged, and enmeshed).
