CAPI - Child Abuse Potential Inventory [2]

The CAP Inventory is a caretaker-report measure developed to estimate the risk of a parent physically abusing a child. The test consists of 160 questions with a total of 10 standard scales and 2 special scales (added to the measure in 1990).

CASA - Child and Adolescent Strengths Assessment [3]

The CASA is a rater-report measure designed to assess child/adolescent status with regard to 30 potential strengths, for use in mental health service planning and delivery.

CBCL/1.5-5 - Child Behavior Checklist for Ages 1.5-5 [4]

The CBCL/1.5-5 obtains caregivers' ratings of 99 problem items.

CBCL/6-18 - Child Behavior Checklist for Ages 6-18 [5]

The 2001 Child Behavior Checklist for Ages 6-18 (CBCL/6-18) is a standardized measure based on new national norms that were collected February 1999-January 2000. The CBCL is to be completed by the parent/caretaker who spends the most time with the child.

CPSS - Child PTSD Symptom Scale [6]

The Child PTSD Symptom Scale (CPSS) is a child version of the Foa et al. (1997) Posttraumatic Diagnostic Scale (PTDS) for adults. This self-report measure assesses the frequency of all DSM-IV-defined PTSD symptoms and was also designed to assess PTSD diagnosis.

CROPS - Child Report of Post-traumatic Symptoms [7]

The CROPS is a self-report measure for children and adolescents that assesses a broad range of post-traumatic symptoms, with or without an identified trauma, and can be used to measure changes in symptomatology over time.

CSBI - Child Sexual Behavior Inventory [8]

The 38-item Child Sexual Behavior Inventory (CSBI) was developed to assess children who have been sexually abused or are suspected of having been sexually abused. The measure is designed to be completed by a female caregiver. It is one of the most widely used measures of sexual behaviors.

CSDC - Child Stress Disorders Checklist [9]

The Child Stress Disorders Checklist (CSDC) is an observer report measure designed for use as a screening instrument for traumatic stress symptoms in children. It measures symptoms of Acute Stress Disorder (ASD) and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PSTD).

CSDC-SF - Child Stress Disorders Checklist - Screening Form [10]

The Child Stress Disorders Checklist-Screening Form (CSDCSF) is a 4-item observer report measure designed for use as a screening instrument to identify children at risk for having or developing Acute Stress Disorder (ASD) and/or Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

CTS - Child Trauma Screen [11]

The CTS is a 10-item screening measure of trauma exposure and PTSD symptoms consistent with DSM-5 criteria for children age 6-17 (age 3-6 version is in development).

CTSQ - Child Trauma Screening Questionnaire [12]

The CTSQ is a 10-item self-report screen which can be used to assist in the identification of children at risk of developing PTSD. The questions are designed to assess traumatic stress reactions in children following a potentially traumatic event.
