LUK, Inc. Central Massachusetts Child Trauma Center (CMCTC) [1]
LUK has a long history of providing trauma informed care within the Central Massachusetts community. Services are tailored to support the needs of youth and families impacted by trauma (i.e. abuse, neglect, interpersonal violence, victims of crime, substance use, attachment losses and other forms) while increasing internal strengths and community resources. Our Community Services Team (home based work), Clinic Based Behavioral Health Services (outpatient treatment), Residential and Foster Care, school supports, community trauma responses and trainings, and other avenues of support address a broad range of ages, variable impacts of trauma, all while centering a resiliency lens, promotive factors, and linkage to community connections. Evidence based practices include the ARC Framework, ARC Grow, PCIT, TF-CBT, Psychological First Aid and relational and trauma-informed treatments. LUK Inc also incorporates models such as CE-CERT and reflective practice to increase sustainability and reduce the impacts of secondary traumatic stress among providers.
