
Following disasters or emergencies, the PFA Mobile™ app can assist responders who provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) to adults, families, and children.

PFA Mobile™ is now available for mobile Apple devices (iPhone, iPad and iPod touch). It will be available for Android devices in 2013.
PFA Mobile™ lets responders review PFA guidelines and assess their readiness to deliver PFA in the field. The app provides additional support when the

[6]responder is in the field by providing tips on different survivor groups (infant/toddler, preschool, school-age, adolescent, adult) and keeping track of survivor concerns and referral needs. Resource links are included to facilitate referrals. PFA Mobile™ supplements other resources that trained individuals utilize before, during, and after a disaster response.
IMPORTANT! PFA Mobile™ does not replace PFA training. To receive training, enroll in PFA online [7], a free 6 hour interactive course. Free continuing education credits are available.
