Category II "Intervention Description" Calls: Learning from Colleagues

During the months of June and July, several Category II center directors will be giving teleconference presentations to highlight interventions they would like to disseminate to NCTSN and beyond.  Each of the presenters has been asked to give a brief 15-minute overview of the intervention program, followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session with the call participants. The presentations include information that potential trainees and site implementers of the intervention need to know such as:

• What is the intervention? 
• Why might sites want to consider implementing the intervention? 
• What sorts of requirements are needed to implement this intervention? 
• Are there any prerequisites or contraindications? 
  

The presenters also describe any plans for training in Network centers and/or possible Learning Collaboratives. The presenters have been asked to prepare a fact-sheet/cultural competence guidelines template, future training opportunities template, and a PowerPoint presentation.  These materials along with an audio recording of the sessions will be made available for download in mid-July on www.NCTSN.org.
