Winter 2009 Issue
The Winter 2009 issue of IMPACT showcases new Network sites, reports the story of how treatment strengthened a soldier, describes the Network's progress on making child-serving systems more trauma-informed, and shines a spotlight on a series of brief on gang-involved youth. In addition, Judge Michael L. Howard of Stark County, OH describes the Network's ongoing partnership with judges.

Summer 2009 Issue
In this issue of impACT we highlight some of the ways the Network and its members focus awareness on children's mental health issues. The issue features articles on the launch of three child trauma-related websites—two by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and one by North Shore—the 2009 NCTSN Partnering with Youth and Families Face-to-Face Meeting, a Houston-area Psychological First Aid collaboration led by DePelchin Children's Services, and Network member Luis E. Flores's presentation about child trauma and substance abuse at the U.S.-Mexico Border Child and Adolescent Health Forum.

Spring 2009 Issue
This issue highlights youth collaboration efforts at the Chicago Child Trauma Center at La Rabida Children's Hospital; the 2009 All-Network Conference in Orlando, FL; and Network member Dr. Steve Cozza's recent appearance on Sesame Street. The Indian Country Child Trauma Center is featured in the Affiliate Spotlight, and Michelle Renee, a family member associated with Chadwick Center for Children and Families, shares her personal story of trauma and recovery. Also included are reviews of two Network products and descriptions of two speaker series in the NCTSN Learning Center for Child and Adolescent Trauma.

Winter 2008 Issue
This issue focuses on collaboration throughout the Network. It features descriptions of the eight newly-funded sites, collaborative efforts between Kennedy Krieger Family Center in Baltimore, MD. and the University of Maryland School of Social Work to create a new graduate course, and efforts between the Center for Children & Family Health in Durham, NC. and the Herald-Sun to publish opinion-editorials on child mental health and trauma. It also highlights Network members who have been honored in the fields of mental health and trauma, and the NCTSN Terrorism and Disaster Speaker Series. This issue's Affiliate Spotlight describes the affiliate program and what some affiliate sites and professionals are doing to stay involved with the NCTSN.

NEW! Summer 2008 Issue
This issue highlights a brand new graduate trauma course being offered by S.C.A.N., Inc, the Survivor Wall Project from La Rabida's Chicago Child Trauma Center, and the work being done by affiliate member Andrus Children's Center in implementing the Sanctuary Model. Look out for a feature on Safe Horizon's Hope Shining public awareness initiative, and a recap of "In Harm's Way 2008: The Fatherhood Solution," a national event hosted by Children's Institute, Inc. The issue also highlights the completion of two high-impact NCTSN products and takes a closer look at how the NCTSN is committed to supporting military children and families.

This issue includes a recap of the 2008 NCTSN All-Network Meeting held in Anaheim, California, an update on NCTSN mini-grants, and a closer look at family and consumer involvement in the NCTSN. Look out for a feature on alumnus Steve Meister's run for Congress, and a glance into the inner workings of the Child Sexual Abuse Committee. The issue also highlights the remaining Complex Trauma Speaker Series presentations, the NCTSN Track at the 23rd San Diego International Conference on Child and Family Maltreatment, and Children's Mental Health Awareness Day on May 8th.
