Description: 

Kristine Buffington was project director of the Cullen Center in Toledo, Ohio. She is now working with Valko and Associates.  She remains active on the NCTSN Juvenile Delinquency Committee and is active on the Ohio Department of Mental Health Child Trauma Task Force.

Description: 

Lisette Rivas-Hermina was senior training specialist at the Children's Institute Inc. She now works as a consultant and trainer for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in Los Angeles. She remains involved with the NCTSN activities to promote the use of evidenced-based trauma treatment for children and their families. Ms. Rivas-Hermina provides treatment to children and their families in Spanish and English in her private practice using both TF-CBT and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy .

Lucy Zammarelli was formerly the Clinical Director at Willamette Family, Inc. in Eugene OR, providing direct services for substance abuse treatment and mental health services with a trauma focus. She is currently Program Supervisor at LaneCare, and an adjunct faculty member in the Substance Abuse Prevention Program at the University of Oregon. She serves on the NCTSN Steering Committee as an Affiliate Member and co-chairs the Trauma and Substance Abuse Committee.

Marsha Rockey was clinical director for Heal the Hurt in Florida. She now works through Spectrum Health at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center, an Army installation in Indiana. Dr. Rockey has remained involved with the NCTSN through her work on the Child Welfare Committee.

Michelle Acker was the associate director of the Child Witness to Violence Project site of the Early Trauma Treatment Network. She currently has a private practice and works as an independent consultant for the Strong Families Strong Forces project at the Boston University School of Social Work. Michelle also continues to provide consultation on Child Parent Psychotherapy. She remains involved in Network activities focusing on military families and early childhood trauma.

Mindy Kronenberg was the former site coordinator for the LSUHSC Early Trauma Treatment Network site and training coordinator of the Louisiana Rural Trauma Services Center. Dr. Kronenberg remains involved in the Zero to Six and Schools Workgroups and is a Child Parent Psychotherapy trainer. She is currently working in Memphis, TN and collaborating with local agencies to increase access to infant mental health and trauma services.

Description: 

Monique Marrow was the former Deputy Director of Treatment and Rehabilitation Services for the Ohio Department of Youth Services, and was the previous Project Director of the Toledo Children's Hospital Cullen Center. Dr. Marrow serves as affiliate representative to the NCTSN Steering Committee, co-chair of the NCTSN Juvenile Justice Treatment Committee and serves on the affiliate Advisory Committee. Her primary interest is the development of training curriculum appropriate for residential treatment staff working with JJ youth in residential settings and treatment curriculum designed to help JJ youth with significant trauma histories. She also has a strong interest early childhood trauma and interventions for these children and their families.
